Also, when they say they pay top dollar on your trade they mean it. Logan, the finance bubba was calm and let me absorb the money details at my pace, not his. TLDR: the sales people were truly delightful, the finance guy was a total jerk. Overall, Oxmoor was fine as far as dealerships go. I had a very pleasant experience when working with my internet sales person and an incredible experience with our product specialist. I love the car that I purchased, especially considering I drove 8 hours to purchase it. However...I certainly could've gone with out the condescending, pretentious, and (honestly) ignorant finance person. When we received our purchase order, the "taxable amount" of the vehicle was $1100 greater than the base price that we had agreed on. Of course, I wanted to know what I was being taxed on besides the vehicle itself (dealership fees? The Pulse Breaking system the dealership added? Totally fine if that's the case). However, when I added these numbers up, they did not amount to an additional $1100 - so where was the extra cost incurred? When I pressed the finance person for a clear answer he threw his hands up in the air and said "I just put the number in the box and it came back like that - it's the fault of your home county's taxes". (Spoiler: it's illegal in my home county to be taxed on anything other than the vehicle and dealership fee/added items sooo...what else could it be??) The finance person then informed me I should have never even been aware of the base price of the vehicle and that was the "fault" of my internet sales specialist, who he stated would not be working there much longer because of this issue (I highly doubt that, I think he's a liar and talks a big game to avoid being blamed for not knowing how to do his own job). Prior to going to Oxmoor, I had read poor Reddit reviews of scams and dishonesty like this occurring at this dealership, but honestly they probably happen at all dealerships. It's tough to give a negative review because our sales people were so great, but the finance guy really tainted my opinion.

IIf I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This is no doubt the absolute worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Several days after I traded in my vehicle and paid my down payment the finance rep Michael calls me and tells me I owe another $1200 on my down payment. I never agreed to this. I paid my agreed upon down payment prior to leaving with the new vehicle. As one does. BECAUSE ITS A DOWN PAYMENT. They proceed to call and leave several voicemails all through the holiday. Monday rolls around and I write an email to the “sales manager” Craig detailing my interaction with both Omar (who was actually the only helpful person) and Michael and stating no I do not agree to this because I didn’t agree to it on the date of the sale. Later tonight I see an alert from my bank that $1200 was withdrawn from my bank account without my consent. Update: I was able to have my issue resolved by speaking with the general manager. He resolved the issue very promptly. I still have a very bad taste in my mouth from the experience but at least it was resolved.

My mom and I came into Toyota Oxmoor on Saturday looking for 2 new cars after having been sharing an old 2005 Chevy Tahoe that had over 300,000 miles on it. Just imagine two girls getting out of a beaten up suv, my mom was also on crutches. As it was evident we didn't look like the two customers most salesmen would want to spend their day walking around a lot answering questions. Dacoda greeted us with a kind smile and proceeded to show us all throughout their inventory. After seeing every car they had available we walked over to their trucks and Dacoda showed us girls the only 2025 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition they had. My mom fell in love and we decided to look at numbers. After the quick service we decided to go through with it and purchase this beast of a truck. Dacoda was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process, from the hello to the goodbye. He wasn't that typical "car salesman" who manipulates you into buying. He honestly answered every question we had and never made us feel like we were pressured into buying something. Though my mom found her dream car, I was still looking for one. Dacoda sat with me and explored all of my options and opened my eyes to the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia, a slick luxury styled suv that I would have never thought of. As having worked in sales for 10 years, I can proudly say Dacoda is the kind of salesman Toyota should be proud to have apart of their team. He is personable, kind, honest, funny, a joy to work with and he makes you feel comfortable that it is YOUR decision with making such a large purchase. He is there to help you make the best one. I highly recommend him to everyone who comes into Toyota, he was also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to every car in their lot and a pleasure to work with. 1000/10
